My name is Robin. I am a certified and registered dental assistant. I have been working for Dr. Duddy since October 1980. I'd like to think that I'm still young but that is a very long time! I grew up in Vernon,New Jersey and jumped the river into Pennsylvania over 20 years ago. I have 2 kids( of the four legged kind) my black and yellow labador retrievers. I get a lot of satisfaction working as a dental assistant helping people feel better about themselves and the end result is to SMILE !!!!!
My name is Karen and I am one of the registered Dental Hygienists. I graduated from Old Dominion University in 1987 and have been working for Dr. Duddy since 1994. I am a single Mom of two teenaged daughters, two black Labs and two kittens. I have lived in Pike County, Pennsylvania since 1991.
My name is Maryellen. I have been in the dental field since 1984. My career has encompassed many aspects of dentistry. I have worked as a dental assistant and a dental hygienist. I worked in a technical training school and taught a 6 month dental assisting program. Then I moved on to working for a computer company installing and teaching dental computer software. I then started my own business teaching dental radiology and consulting dental practices how to run more efficiently, setting up new practices, making sure that OSHA-standards were followed. Moving forward I started working in the research field working on my projects before the products had FDA approval. Examples: whiting toothpaste, whiting mouth rinsing, teeth whiten products, manual toothbrushes vs. electric brushing. I was rewarded with a position working with a public school district to start a health center inside of a school which was grant funded and would help the underserved children who would other wise not have dental care. This was a big challenge to get the NJ board of dentistry to license a public school with a clinic license, but I accomplished the task. This position also gave me the opportunity to teach again. I started teaching high school students dental assisting. These were young adults who did not have the opportunity to go to college. This gave them a career that they would be able to expand upon. I now have moved on to more of an administrator's role instead of the clinical role. I do practical dental hygiene in my spare time. I have dedicated several years to the GKAS program. My heart is with the underserved and especially children. If I could move on, one of my objectives would be to go to Indian reservations to teach and treat the problems in an area where healthcare is so shorthanded. My hobbies include hiking, sunfish sailing, gardening, cooking and spending time with my family and dogs.
I am Priscilla. I am a registered dental hygienist. I graduated from Fairleigh Dickinson University in 1981 and have spent the last 32 years working in private practice. I have worked with Dr. Duddy for 11 years.
My name is Lisa, I have been a dental assistant for 28 years and I have worked for Dr. Duddy for 23 of them. I am a Registered and Certified Dental Assistant. I am a mother of two children and one grandson. When I came into the dental field, I immediately learned this was my passion. I was born and raised in the tri-state area. I find it very rewarding to help and care for my community.
